About Well Rounded Kids
Well Rounded Kids helps young athletes ages 6–12 explore different sports, build skills, and find what they love. We believe kids should have access to expert coaching and meaningful competition while enjoying the freedom to try something new. Our goal is to develop confident kids and well-rounded athletes through supportive instruction, teamwork, and a passion for play.
Founded in 2026 by Cooper Waddell, a former collegiate athlete with over 20 years of youth coaching experience, WRK grew from a belief that playing multiple sports offers lessons that last beyond the field. We combine that experience with instruction from coaches and specialists in individual sports, giving children different perspectives and guidance tailored to their interests, abilities, and goals.
Our approach brings sports experiences together to make participation more manageable for families, with thoughtful scheduling and accessible options. Kids have opportunities to learn alongside familiar teammates across activities, building friendships that make new challenges feel less intimidating. Along the way, they learn to handle setbacks, celebrate progress, and support one another—lessons they can carry into every part of their lives.
Youth Baseball Coaching
Private and small-group baseball lessons for kids ages 6–12, serving Carlsbad, Vista, Oceanside, and San Marcos in North County San Diego.
Session Length - 45 Minutes
One-on-one coaching tailored to your child’s goals and experience. Each 45-minute lesson gives your player focused instruction and time to build skills at their own pace.

Two to four players learn and practice together in a supportive group setting. Bring your own group, or ask us to help match your child with other interested players. Group sessions require at least two players.
